Autumn finished and framed ...

Got my CelticAutumn back from the framers and we set to putting it alongside the other ones I have completed, until disaster struck ....   it dropped off the hanger straight onto the stairs !!  On picking it up, no broken glass amazingly, but the bottom part of the frame was off with the corners broken ... My DH put it back as best he could and it is now in the process of going back onto the hanger .... not easy to take a picture of it without the glass shining, but here it is ....

as for the weather here in my part of the North East UK ...  rain, rain and more rain ! A shame for folks who have a street party arranged to celebrate the Queen's 60 years ...  and also for folks who might have had family bar-b-q's arranged ....

Sorry to hear it has to go back to the framers. It is beautiful.
It is raining here today. We really need it as we got very little snow this year.

Actually Cindy, my DH has done quite a good DIY job so hope that will solve the problem, once it is dry and can be painted over ... thankfully the middle of the frame was OK, just the corners smashed ... :)

Love the stitching and how the framer cut out the mount for the train. We also had an accident like that with a painting my step-daughter did for us, but luckily no damage....it seems like the hangers are not as strong as years ago. Have a great weekend celebrating and hope the weather holds out for you.

Love the way the frame highlights the dress.

She's lovely, and I love the mat color you chose for her, Val. As for rain, it keeps the grass green and the trees growing. I know a day of sun would be nice, but you can always dance in the rain!!

Thanks ladies - dancing in the rain certainly is great Julie :) almost as nice as walking barefoot in the rain :)

What a great design. Beautiful stitching. Thank goodness when it fell, it didn't damage the stitching. Frames can always be repaired.
